As well as I might be doing at any point in time, a commitment to education is what insures continued excellence and guarantees that I will be constantly improving my customer service.
As you might have surmised, I have not been remiss in recognizing the value of continuing education. In the last several years, I have earned my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations, my Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) degree and my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) classification.
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation and is awarded to those real estate agents who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
The Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) symbol is earned by Realtors who have made the commitment to a higher level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. Realtors with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate that the average agent or broker is not.
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential real estate field. The CRS recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
In addition, Arizona real estate agents are required to complete 24 hours of educational reinforcement every two years. Sadly, most agents treat this as an obligation. However, for me this is a way to stay ahead of the curve with regard to ongoing changes and challenges in the business that relate to contract law, agency law, federal fair housing, disclosures, the commissioner standards and legal issues.
I also make it a point to attend the annual RE/MAX convention which always keeps me abreast of new and updated ideas regarding marketing strategies, selling insights and technological advances. In the most basic terms, what this means is that I have an ongoing commitment to providing the most professional service possible.
